Overview

The General Inspector position at U.S. Tsubaki Automotive involves performing repetitive inspections and packaging of chain products to ensure they meet specified standards. This role requires interpreting simple specifications and working closely with team leaders in a manufacturing environment focused on quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform repetitive inspections and packaging of chain products using fixed gauges.
  • Visually inspect products to ensure conformity with specifications.
  • Check dimensions such as length, width, and surface condition.
  • Record production and time data and report to payroll.
  • Sort nonconforming materials according to specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Assist in minor troubleshooting of stringer machines.

Required skills

  • 0-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Strong focus on quality and safety
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience with material handling devices such as hand trucks and hydraulic lift trucks
