Overview

The General Inspector position at US Tsubaki Automotive involves the repetitive inspection and packing of chain products to ensure they meet specifications. This role requires attention to detail and involves various inspection tasks, as well as some minor troubleshooting of machinery.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform repetitive inspection and packaging of chain products using fixed gauges
  • Visually inspect products to establish conformity to specifications
  • Check dimensions such as length, width, and surface condition
  • Record production and time data for payroll reporting
  • Inspect pins for conformity and perform pin sorting tasks
  • Provide plates to bowl feeders for Automatic Silent Chain Assembly machines
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment
  • Sort NCM materials according to specifications

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 0-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong focus on quality and safety
  • Ability to work well in a team and fast-paced environment
  • Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience with material handling devices
