Overview

As a General Accountant at Asbury Automotive Group in Las Colinas, you will contribute to redefining the automotive retail experience through a focus on accuracy in financial reporting and auditing. This role emphasizes building relationships and providing exceptional service, while ensuring compliance with company policies and managing various accounting tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Review, code, and post daily bank activity related to vehicle sales
  • Monitor and correct system errors for Repair Orders and Parts Invoices
  • Ensure accuracy of Floorplan postings within designated timeframes
  • Reconcile finance reserve payments and various accounts
  • Retrieve and post Manufacturer Payments related to incentives and assistance
  • Assist in special projects individually or within a team

Required skills

  • Prior automotive experience preferred
  • Minimum 2 years in a staff accounting role
  • AS/BA/BS in Accounting desired
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Data analysis and financial reporting skills
  • Familiarity with auditing and reconciliation processes
