Overview

UCHealth is seeking a Gastroenterology Physician Assistant to join their team in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. The ideal candidate should possess GI experience and demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care within a collaborative outpatient setting, handling up to 14 patients per day. This role offers a four-day work week with no evenings or weekends, utilizing EPIC EMR system-wide.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient care in an outpatient setting
  • Conduct patient assessments and medical documentation
  • Collaborate with a close-knit team of physicians and support staff
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare standards and regulations
  • Participate in continuing medical education

Required skills

  • Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
  • Unrestricted Physician Assistant license in Colorado
  • PA-C certification issued by NCCPA
  • Unrestricted DEA permit
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience in Gastroenterology (GI) preferred
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
