Overview

WhiteCoat Locums is seeking a Gastroenterology Physician to provide locums coverage in Galesburg, Illinois. This position offers a flexible schedule with a collaborative team environment, focusing on the management of both acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions, including endoscopies and hospital consultations.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide general GI care, including managing acute and chronic conditions
  • Perform endoscopies and ambulatory scopes
  • Handle hospital consultations and patient rounding
  • Be available for night call as agreed upon

Required skills

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board-Certified in Gastroenterology
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Active Illinois State License
  • ACLS, BLS, DEA, and CSR certifications
  • EMR proficiency, specifically with Epic
  • Experience in handling acute and chronic GI conditions
