Overview

ATC West Healthcare Services is looking for a Board-Certified Gastroenterology provider for ASAC coverage in a hospital-based setting in Michigan. The role involves providing high-volume endoscopy services, including ERCP, with a predictable weekday schedule and no weekday night call.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide GI services in a hospital-based clinic setting
  • Perform endoscopy coverage and ERCP procedures
  • Manage GI consults during scheduled hours (7:00 am - 4:30 pm)
  • Collaborate with onsite support staff including 2 physicians and 2 APPs
  • Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation
  • Participate in reverse invoicing using DocTime for time tracking

Required skills

  • Board Certified in Gastroenterology
  • ERCP proficiency
  • Active Michigan medical license and CSR
  • DEA registration
  • ACLS certification
  • Completed GI fellowship with minimum 2-3 years of post-training experience
  • Clean background with no adverse actions
  • COVID-19 vaccination
  • Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella (vaccine series or immunity titers)
  • Influenza vaccine (current season)
  • TB screening within 12 months
  • TDAP within the last 10 years
