Overview

Community Health Systems is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join their hospital-employed team in Knoxville, Tennessee. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced GI capabilities in a collaborative environment while maintaining a flexible work-life balance.

Key responsibilities

  • Join a collaborative GI team with experienced physicians
  • Perform advanced GI procedures including ERCP and EUS
  • Engage in clinical research and trials to advance patient care
  • Provide care in a multi-specialty clinic with dedicated support
  • Utilize state-of-the-art equipment in modern facilities
  • Maintain a work-life balance with a flexible call schedule
  • Access a strong referral base and robust surgical and oncology support

Required skills

  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Experience with advanced procedures in gastroenterology
  • Familiarity with clinical research and trials
  • Proficiency in using Olympus GI equipment, DaVinci robotics, Athena, Cerner, and Provation
