Overview

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Gastroenterology physician for hospital-based call coverage in Bismarck, North Dakota. Candidates are preferred who have ERCP experience, as this will be prioritized in the review process. The position involves in-house call coverage and managing hospitalized GI patients during defined coverage dates.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide hospital-based 24-hour call coverage
  • Perform 1-2 ERCPs per week and 1-2 scopes per day
  • Conduct daily rounds on 5-6 patients
  • Manage hospitalized GI patients and support endoscopy procedures
  • Perform required procedures including colonoscopy, biopsy, and PEG placement

Required skills

  • Board Certification in Gastroenterology
  • State license (with IMLC considered)
  • BLS and DEA certification
  • Experience with EMR systems, specifically Epic
  • Clean malpractice history
  • Self-Query NPDB within 30 days required at presentation
  • Case logs required at presentation and at offer
