Comprehensive Services: Diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal and liver conditions, including inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), liver disorders, GI bleeding, IBS, and gastrointestinal cancers.Procedural Expertise: Perform essential GI procedures such as upper endoscopies and colonoscopies, with opportunities for advanced training and complex investigations.Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a well-developed medical staff, including other specialists, pathologists, and oncologists, within a team-oriented culture.Rural Health Setting: Thrive in a community-focused environment where your contributions are highly valued and make a tangible difference.Modern Facilities: Utilize the latest health record technology for seamless information sharing and maximized patient safety and efficiency.Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative medical services to patients with gastrointestinal and liver disorders.Perform various endoscopic procedures including, but not limited to, upper endoscopy and colonoscopy.Manage acute and chronic GI conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.Collaborate effectively with primary care physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.Maintain accurate and timely medical records.Commit to continuous professional development and stay abreast of advancements in gastroenterology.Actively participate in departmental and hospital committees as appropriate.Qualifications:Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship program.Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology.Current, unrestricted Ohio medical license (or eligible for licensure).DEA registration.Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.Benefits & Compensation:Avita Health System offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience and a comprehensive benefits program that includes:Competitive Salary with uncapped WRVUHealth, Dental, and Life Insurance.Shor
