Job Description

Overview

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Gastroenterology physician to provide hospital-based call coverage in Bismarck, North Dakota. Candidates with ERCP experience will be prioritized, with duties including managing hospitalized GI patients and performing various procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide 24-hour call coverage in-house for approximately 8 hours daily
  • Perform 1-2 ERCPs per week and 1-2 scopes per day
  • Conduct 1-2 new consults daily and round on 5-6 patients
  • Manage hospitalized GI patients
  • Utilize Epic EMR for patient management
  • Perform procedures such as colonoscopy, biopsy, polypectomy, and others

Required skills

  • Board Certified in Gastroenterology
  • State license (pending accepted; IMLC considered)
  • BLS & DEA certification
  • ERCP experience highly preferred
  • Clean malpractice history
  • Self-Query NPDB (within 30 days)
  • Case logs required at presentation and at offer
