Job Description

Overview

The Medicus Firm is seeking a Gastroenterology Physician to join an established, physician-led GI group in Rochester, New York. This role offers a procedure-driven model with high procedural volume, strong support, and efficient workflows, allowing physicians to focus on high-value care and enjoy a work-life balance.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide procedure-driven care with an emphasis on gastrointestinal procedures
  • Manage patient relationships and follow up on clinical efficiency
  • Participate in partnership development with a clear path to ownership within one year
  • Coordinate with APPs who manage most clinic visits
  • Utilize on-site endoscopy and infusion suites with a full support team

Required skills

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Experience with procedure-driven GI preferred
  • Patient management skills
  • Healthcare administration knowledge
