Overview

Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC is seeking a Gastroenterology Physician for a locum tenens position in Lafayette, Indiana. The role involves covering inpatient and outpatient care with a primary focus on procedures such as endoscopies and managing patient admissions.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide gastrointestinal care for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Perform procedures including upper and lower GI endoscopy, esophageal dilatation, and colonoscopy
  • Manage patient admissions and rounding
  • Participate in call coverage as required

Required skills

  • Active Indiana License or IMLC
  • BC/BE in Gastroenterology
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Experience with Cerner EMR
  • Ability to perform endoscopic procedures
