Overview

Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC is seeking a Gastroenterology Physician for a locum tenens position in Lakewood, Colorado. This role involves inpatient care with a call-only schedule, providing consultation services in a Level I trauma facility, and covering a range of gastroenterological procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide gastroenterological consultations and procedures including ERCP, EUS, and endoscopies
  • Manage patient care for adolescent to geriatric populations
  • Handle a patient volume of 8-10 new and follow-up cases daily
  • Participate in a call schedule covering 5-7 days per month
  • Collaborate with 24/7 trauma service, intensivists, and hospitalists

Required skills

  • Active Colorado medical license or IMLC
  • Board Certified in Gastroenterology
  • DEA registration
  • Completion of a fellowship in gastroenterology
  • Clean record with NPDB
  • Experience with EMR systems, specifically Epic
