Overview

The Fayetteville, NC Veterans Affairs Medical Center is seeking a Gastroenterologist to deliver effective GI care to Veterans. The role involves providing expert consultation and treatment in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including GI clinics and procedures, while also ensuring patient education and support.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide expert consultation and treatment for GI patients
  • Conduct evaluations, diagnoses, and order diagnostic studies
  • Deliver care in inpatient and outpatient clinical settings
  • Participate in a shared on-call schedule
  • Provide consultative evaluations for other medical services
  • Educate patients and their families
