Overview

ATC West Healthcare Services is looking for a Board-Certified Gastroenterology provider for hospital-based ASAC coverage in Michigan. The position emphasizes high-volume endoscopy services, including ERCP, and offers a predictable weekday schedule with no weekday night call.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide GI services in a hospital-based clinic setting
  • Perform endoscopy coverage and ERCP procedures
  • Manage GI consults during scheduled hours
  • Collaborate with onsite support staff including 2 physicians and 2 APPs
  • Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation
  • Participate in reverse invoicing using DocTime for time tracking

Required skills

  • Board Certified in Gastroenterology
  • ERCP proficiency
  • Active Michigan medical license and CSR
  • DEA registration
  • ACLS certification
  • Completed GI fellowship with minimum 2-3 years of post-training experience
  • Local candidate driving in
  • Clean background with no adverse actions
  • COVID-19 vaccination
  • Health compliance requirements including Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Influenza vaccine, TB screening, and TDAP
