Overview

The University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking a full-time Gastroenterology Physician specializing in Bariatric Endoscopy. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to a leading academic medical center's commitment to patient care and education, while working in a diverse and vibrant community.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide and manage direct patient care including evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment.
  • Prescribe medications and treatment regimens based on medical conditions.
  • Refer patients to specialists as appropriate.
  • Train and supervise medical students and residents.
  • Manage daily operations of specific medical programs or units.
  • Direct and coordinate patient care activities with nursing and support staff.
  • Participate in health promotion and education programs as applicable.
  • Maintain faculty status with the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

Required skills

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Fellowship trained advanced therapeutic endoscopist
  • Active Ohio Medical License in good standing
