Job Description

Overview

Aramco is seeking a Gas Facilities Planning Engineer to lead the development and coordination of capital projects within the Gas Facilities Planning Division. This role involves long-range planning, engineering feasibility studies, and capital investment opportunities specific to gas processing and NGL facilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the development of business case evaluation and master planning
  • Develop Gas & NGL Capital Projects from feasibility assessment to full funding
  • Lead Integrated Project Teams (IPT) for projects with budgets greater than $100 million
  • Conduct engineering studies to establish project business case and economic viability
  • Assess feasible alternatives for capital projects and perform economic evaluations
  • Perform project specification reviews during the details engineering phase
  • Develop executive level briefings, memos, and presentations on capital investment
  • Mentor Gas and NGL Planning engineers

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Master of Science degree in related discipline preferred
  • 15+ years of engineering experience in gas processing, NGL Recovery, or fractionation facilities
  • Experience in Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and capital program planning
  • Experience in economic evaluations and feasibility studies
  • Experience directing professional consultants and leading engineering studies
  • Process/system simulation experience of gas processing and NGL operations
  • Fluent communication in English
