Overview

Tomorrow RNG is seeking a Gas WellField Maintenance Technician to join their team in Melissa, Texas. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining valves, well heads, gas lines, and well extensions in the landfill field, requiring physical stamina and a commitment to safety in demanding outdoor conditions.

Key responsibilities

  • Adhere to established field maintenance procedures and design standards
  • Perform daily well/pump rounds and maintenance log updates
  • Assist with extending gas wells and conduct vacuum surveys
  • Develop basic knowledge of wellhead components and functions
  • Perform basic heavy equipment operation and inspections
  • Maintain cleanliness in shop and UTV areas
  • Communicate effectively with all teams on location
  • Participate in ongoing training and peer-to-peer knowledge sharing

Required skills

  • Basic knowledge of hand tools
  • Fundamentals of working with computers and Microsoft applications
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Good manual dexterity with physical stamina for extended hours
  • Understanding of safety protocols and practices
  • Experience with HDPE pipe and heavy equipment is a plus
