Overview

A to Z Statewide Plumbing Inc. is seeking a skilled Gas, Diesel & Heavy Duty Mechanic to maintain their fleet and equipment. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and ensuring the safe operation of diesel trucks and heavy machinery.

Key responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  • Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, brakes, filters, etc.)
  • Repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other major components
  • Maintain service records and work orders
  • Inspect vehicles and equipment for safety and compliance
  • Respond to breakdowns as needed

Required skills

  • 3+ years' experience as a diesel/heavy-duty mechanic
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with fleet maintenance
  • Valid driver's license (CDL a plus)
  • Own tools
