Job Description Job Description We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for performing intermediate to advanced welding and fabrication tasks, producing high-quality components, and ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and highly skilled in multiple welding processes and fabrication equipment.This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM CSTKey ResponsibilitiesSupport the Shop Manager in supervising daily shop operations workflow, and team performance.Help manage production scheduling, shop supplies, and inventory.Ability to perform job estimates and communicate professionally with clients is a plus.Assist with training and mentoring junior fabricators or welders as needed.Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on various metals, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.Fabricate parts and assemblies from blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions.Set up and operate fabrication equipment including saws, brakes, shears, drills, and grinders.Measure, cut, fit, and weld components with precision.Verify dimensions and quality using appropriate tools.Conduct routine inspection of welds for accuracy, quality, and structural integrity.Maintain equipment and report any issues or needed repairs.Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.Support continuous improvement efforts within the fabrication department.Qualifications5+ years of welding and metal fabrication experience preferred.Strong proficiency with MIG welding; TIG and stick welding experience.Welding certifications preferred .Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Skilled in using fabrication tools and machinery.Strong math and measurement skills.Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certificate a plus.Valid driver's license preferredWhy Join Us?If you're looking for more than just another welding job, this could be the opportunity for you.
