Overview

The Skilled Trades Recruiter at IA Recruiting is a full-time on-site position in Bethlehem, PA, responsible for managing the full recruitment process for skilled trades positions. This role involves client acquisition, relationship management, candidate sourcing, screening, and placement, with an emphasis on building business relationships within the construction industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential companies for new business relationships
  • Present recruitment services and negotiate contracts with prospective clients
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for job openings
  • Utilize various sourcing methods including job boards and social media
  • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle from job order intake to candidate placement
  • Collaborate with clients to understand job requirements and company culture
  • Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the hiring process

Required skills

  • Proven experience as a Full Desk Recruiter (2.5+ years)
  • Strong business development skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and job orders simultaneously
  • Familiarity with construction industry roles and terminology
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Interview skills and discovery skills to assess client needs
