Overview

Wickers, Wickers & Admans LLP is seeking a Full-Time Probate Paralegal to join their team in Torrance, California. In this role, you will support attorneys throughout all stages of litigation by preparing and managing legal documents and facilitating effective communication with clients, ensuring quality service in Probate, Trusts, and Estates law.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in preparing and maintaining legal documents, pleadings, and discovery.
  • Coordinate with clients to gather necessary information for probate cases.
  • Draft and file legal documents with courts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain organized case files and databases.
  • Conduct legal research to support case strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and enhance satisfaction.
  • Answer telephones and coordinate potential new client calls.

Required skills

  • ABA-approved paralegal certification
  • Knowledge of relevant software (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, Clio)
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
  • Experience in estate, probate, and/or litigation preferred
  • Typing speed of 65wpm+
