Work Environment The rehabilitation center is designed to provide a comfortable and safe space for patients to undergo therapy. As a full-time Licensed Physical Health Therapist, you will work within a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, mental health professionals, and rehabilitation specialists. The position requires onsite presence, enabling therapists to engage fully with patients and their needs. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility needed based on patient schedules. Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical health needs, establishing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual recovery goals.Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation, to manage pain and promote healing.Provide education and training to patients and families on exercises, home care strategies, and lifestyle modifications to facilitate recovery.Collaborate closely with a diverse team of healthcare providers to develop coordinated care plans that address both physical and mental health needs.Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.Maintain meticulous records of patient evaluations and treatment sessions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.Engage in continuous professional development and stay abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy methodologies.Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to case discussions to enhance patient care delivery. Patient Population / Client Focus The Licensed Physical Health Therapist will primarily work with a diverse patient population with varying needs, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and post-stroke rehabilitation. Each therapist will play a crucial role in helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence through personalized treatment strategies and compassionate care. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.Current, valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.Strong foundational knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic modalities.Proven experience in developing individualized care plans and successfully managing patient rehabilitation outcomes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients and fellow healthcare professionals.Dedication to providing compassionate care and fostering patient empowerment.Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
