Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough assessments of patients' physical health, identifying specific needs and establishing personalized treatment plans to enhance their rehabilitation outcomes.Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions, tailoring each session according to the unique needs of individuals, couples, and families.Utilize modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training in a one-on-one or group treatment setting to promote healing and mobility.Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, occupational therapists, and other mental health professionals to ensure a coordinated, multidisciplinary approach to patient care.Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards, while utilizing our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for efficiency.Provide education to patients regarding their physical health conditions, treatment options, and methods to enhance their recovery.Engage in ongoing evaluations of patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans and strategies in response to patient feedback and clinical observations.Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to stay informed about industry best practices and innovations in physical health therapy. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will work primarily with individuals who are undergoing treatment for mental health disorders, including those whose physical health issues intersect with their psychological well-being. Your efforts will be pivotal in helping patients regain their functional capabilities and improve their overall quality of life. You will engage with a diverse demographic, including adults dealing with the aftermath of major depressive episodes, anxiety disorders, and substance use complications. QualificationsA Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.Strong foundational knowledge of physical therapy techniques and their applications in a mental health context.Superior assessment skills for developing and implementing effective rehabilitation plans.Experience in providing therapy in both one-on-one settings and group contexts.Excellent communication abilities, capable of building rapport with patients and collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Competence in using electronic
