Job Description

Overview

IA Recruiting is seeking a Full-time Facility Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and maintenance on plant facilities and equipment in Windsor, WI. This on-site position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and offers flexible work hours, a competitive salary, and a robust benefits package.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct daily work safely and professionally following company policy
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas
  • Schedule, plan, and complete work requests
  • Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled
  • Remove snow and care for grounds throughout all seasons
  • Order and maintain inventory for supplies and parts
  • Repair and maintain plumbing, pneumatics, hydraulics, and welding needs
  • Maintain tractors, sweepers, and assigned maintenance vehicles
  • Provide training and backup for Custodian and Production Equipment Maintenance positions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of forklift, company truck, sweeper/scrubber, and tractor operation
  • Ability to use plasma cutter, cutting/brazing torch, welder, and powered hand tools
  • Two-year Technical Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related skilled trade
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds regularly
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronics
  • Valid Driver's License and safe driving record
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
  • Demonstrates safe work practices
