Overview

Appliance Canada is seeking a self-motivated Full Time Delivery Driver to handle heavy cargo with care. This role is crucial as delivery drivers serve as the final link between the company and customers, ensuring a positive and professional delivery experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Carefully loading and unloading the delivery truck
  • Safely delivering products into customers' homes
  • Set up and assembly of some items
  • Removal of packaging materials
  • Returning approved merchandise
  • Providing professional, friendly, and efficient delivery service
  • Complying with Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Working with other departments to ensure a positive overall customer experience
  • Performing various other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Clean driving record and valid non-probationary driver's license
  • Experience driving a 5-ton truck
  • Ability to handle heavy goods
  • Previous experience delivering furniture and appliances
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to integrity and personal development
