Leon's Furniture is seeking a self-motivated Full-Time Delivery Driver based in Toronto, Ontario. This role is essential as drivers serve as the final link to customers, delivering heavy cargo with care and professionalism, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Leon's has a rich history of over 110 years in providing home furnishing needs to Canadians and continues to grow its team.

Key responsibilities

  • Carefully load and unload the delivery truck
  • Safely deliver products into customers' homes
  • Set up and assemble some items
  • Remove packaging materials
  • Return approved merchandise
  • Provide professional, friendly, and efficient delivery service
  • Comply with Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments for overall customer experience
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid non-probationary driver's license
  • Experience driving a 5-ton truck
  • Ability to handle heavy goods
  • Previous experience delivering furniture and appliances (beneficial)
  • Positive attitude and exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Integrity and desire to succeed
  • Passion for lifelong learning and personal development
