Overview

Leon's Furniture is seeking a Full Time Delivery Driver in Burlington, Ontario, who will be responsible for the careful handling and delivery of heavy cargo to customers' homes. This role emphasizes professionalism and a positive attitude, contributing to the company's commitment to an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Carefully loading and unloading the delivery truck
  • Safely delivering products into customers' homes
  • Setting up and assembling items as needed
  • Removing packaging materials
  • Returning approved merchandise
  • Providing professional, friendly, and efficient delivery service
  • Complying with Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with other departments to enhance customer experience
  • Performing various other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Clean driving record and valid non-probationary driver's license
  • Experience driving a 5-ton truck
  • Ability to handle heavy goods
  • Previous experience delivering furniture and appliances (beneficial)
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
