Overview

Appliance Canada is seeking a Full Time Delivery Driver to manage the delivery of heavy cargo with care. This role serves as a key link between the company and its customers, emphasizing professionalism and excellent customer service as the driver brings furniture and appliances into homes, assisting customers in realizing their home furnishing dreams.

Key responsibilities

  • Carefully load and unload the delivery truck
  • Safely deliver products into customers' homes
  • Set up and assemble some items
  • Remove packaging materials
  • Return approved merchandise
  • Provide professional, friendly, and efficient delivery service
  • Comply with Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance customer experience
  • Perform various other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid non-probationary driver's license
  • Experience driving a 5-ton truck
  • Ability to handle heavy goods
  • Previous experience delivering furniture and appliances
  • Positive attitude and exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Integrity and desire to succeed
  • Passion for lifelong learning and personal development
