Overview

Appliance Canada is seeking a motivated Full Time Delivery Driver in London, Ontario. In this role, you will be the crucial link between the company and customers, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of heavy cargo, contributing to excellent customer service, and showcasing professionalism and integrity.

Key responsibilities

  • Carefully loading and unloading the delivery truck
  • Safely delivering products into customers' homes
  • Setting up and assembling items as needed
  • Removing packaging materials
  • Returning approved merchandise
  • Providing professional, friendly, and efficient delivery service
  • Complying with Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with other departments for an overall positive customer experience
  • Performing various other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Clean driving record and valid non-probationary driver's license
  • Experience driving a 5-ton truck
  • Ability to handle heavy goods
  • Previous experience delivering furniture and appliances (beneficial)
  • Positive attitude and exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Integrity and desire to succeed
  • Passion for lifelong learning and personal development
