Overview

Appliance Canada is seeking a Full-Time Delivery Driver in Toronto, Ontario, who is self-motivated and capable of handling heavy cargo with care. As a delivery driver, you will play a critical role in connecting the company to its customers, ensuring a positive delivery experience while upholding the values and professionalism of the team.

Key responsibilities

  • Carefully loading and unloading the delivery truck
  • Safely delivering products into customers' homes
  • Setting up and assembling some items
  • Removing packaging materials
  • Returning approved merchandise
  • Providing professional, friendly, and efficient delivery service
  • Complying with Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure a positive overall customer experience

Required skills

  • Valid non-probationary driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Experience driving a 5-ton truck
  • Ability to handle heavy goods
  • Prior experience delivering furniture and appliances (beneficial)
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and integrity
  • Desire for lifelong learning and personal development
