Job Description

Overview

The Full-time Delivery Driver at Great Lakes Ace will be responsible for managing regular deliveries to commercial customers from the Commercial Fulfillment Center. This role emphasizes excellent customer service and teamwork while ensuring timely and professional delivery of products.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute regular on-time delivery of products to commercial customers
  • Partner with the Commercial Fulfillment team for all aspects of product delivery
  • Provide excellent service and proactively address customer needs
  • Assist with picking up, receiving, pulling, packing, and loading products for delivery
  • Engage with customers to identify needs and selling opportunities
  • Recommend product stocking or special order needs
  • Observe and obey all traffic laws while operating delivery vehicles
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required skills

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Interpersonal skills with negotiation and conflict resolution abilities
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently and flexible hours
  • Skillful operation of vans, trucks, and material handling equipment
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs or more and perform standing, walking, and climbing tasks
