Overview

Northstrat is seeking a Full-Stack Software Developer to join a growing program comprised of multiple agile development teams. The role involves participating in Agile ceremonies, solving complex problems, and creating innovative solutions in a secure DevOps environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-up, Iteration Planning, Demos, and Retros.
  • Collaborate within a team to develop and deploy scalable features.
  • Engage in User-Centered Design process with end-user feedback.
  • Develop solutions using the latest technologies and tools.

Required skills

  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field or related experience
  • Web/Front End and Backend (Java) or Full Stack Development experience
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) proficiency
  • Experience with Linux OS
  • Team collaboration skills
  • Top Secret clearance with SCI
  • Proficiency with web platform technologies and web standards
  • Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps processes
  • Database systems experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis)
  • Source code management tools experience
  • Container management experience (Kubernetes)
  • Current Security+ certification or willingness to obtain
