Overview

As a Full Desk Skilled Trades Recruiter at Steel Point Opportunities, you will manage the entire recruitment process, from client acquisition to candidate placement. Your role will focus on connecting skilled trades professionals with companies seeking talent in various roles such as Welders, Fabricators, and Maintenance Mechanics, while also driving business development efforts.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential companies for new business relationships
  • Present recruitment services to prospective clients and negotiate contracts
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for suitable job openings
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards and social media
  • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle from job order intake to placement
  • Collaborate with clients to understand job requirements and company culture
  • Provide market insights and trends to clients to attract top talent
  • Attend trade school events such as mock interviews and job fairs
  • Write job descriptions and post job ads
  • Negotiate and present employment offers

Required skills
