Job Description

Overview

The Fuel Truck Driver at Olgoonik Corporation is responsible for transporting materials in vehicles with capacities under three tons to and from specified destinations. This role involves various tasks related to fueling operations, vehicle maintenance, and logistics coordination.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive truck to customer premises and load/unload materials
  • Open valves or start pumps to fill tanks and record quantities
  • Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment
  • Maintain vehicle logs and records of cargo
  • Perform emergency repairs and report mechanical problems
  • Verify contents of inventory loads against shipping papers
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required skills

  • CDL driving with valid Driver's License
  • Airbrakes, Hazmat and Tanker CDL endorsement
  • Fuel handling and logistics coordination experience
  • Vehicle maintenance skills
  • Ability to comply with safety and traffic regulations
  • Familiarity with inventory management
  • Basic mathematical skills for computing rates and interpreting schematics
