Job Description

Overview

Cima Aviation is seeking a reliable and self-motivated Fuel Tester who will be responsible for the proper receipt, teardown, inspection, and testing of fuel components. This role offers opportunities for growth within the company for those willing to take on challenges in a competitive aviation industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform work assignments as directed by shop management
  • Ensure compliance with approved technical data and customer specifications
  • Record information and complete work assignments per inspection procedures
  • Utilize appropriate inspection techniques and calibrated equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance as needed
  • Comply with all safety directives and maintain a clean work environment
  • Read and interpret schematics and drawings
  • Maintain personal and shop-calibrated tools
  • Assist with developing new repair capabilities
  • Interact with Quality Inspectors, Engineers, and Buyers

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 years of aviation fuel experience
  • 2-5 years of combined bench or line experience with fuel components
  • Extensive knowledge of fuel components
  • Ability to operate various test equipment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
  • Willingness to work additional hours as required

What the company offers
