Job Description

Overview

As a Donation Processor Shift Lead at KARM Stores, you will play a crucial role in supporting the mission to fund life-restoring services across East Tennessee through the processing of donated items. This position involves delegating tasks, sorting and inspecting merchandise, and ensuring productivity and organization within the processing area.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in delegating tasks with the Processing Manager and Assistant Processing Manager.
  • Receive and sort donated merchandise.
  • Inspect, evaluate, and determine sellable quality of items.
  • Price and prepare items for the sales floor.
  • Meet daily and weekly production goals.
  • Maintain organization and safety in the processing area.
  • Work closely with team members to keep inventory moving efficiently.
  • Represent KARM's core values: Trustworthy, Team-Minded & Teachable.

Required skills

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic computer and point-of-sale system skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Availability to work Saturdays and flexible shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
