Overview

OnPoint Medical Group is seeking a Front Office Supervisor to join the Columbine Family Practice team in Littleton, Colorado. This role oversees the daily operations of the front desk and ensures a positive patient experience through effective personnel management and workflow development.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage daily front desk operations including scheduling and staff training
  • Enforce attendance and punctuality guidelines
  • Serve as the first line of support for patient and staff complaints
  • Greet incoming patients in a professional manner
  • Complete administrative tasks to ensure efficient billing and organization
  • Collect co-pays and balances due according to insurance guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office area
  • Perform clerical activities related to appointment scheduling and patient intake
  • Prepare the office for opening and close at the end of the day
  • Coordinate front office meetings
  • Adhere to all standards and regulations, including HIPAA

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in a physician office or clinical environment
  • Customer Service experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Preferred: Some college education in medical, business, or accounting
  • Preferred: Supervisory experience
  • Preferred: Current BLS card
  • Preferred: EMR experience, specifically with Athenahealth
