Overview

OnPoint Medical Group is seeking a Front Office Supervisor for Columbine Family Practice, a critical role responsible for managing front desk operations to ensure a positive patient experience. This position includes overseeing staff management, training, scheduling, and administrative duties in a supportive healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage front desk operations and staff scheduling
  • Handle complaints and concerns from patients and staff
  • Greet incoming patients professionally and warmly
  • Ensure a smooth, organized front office environment
  • Collect co-pays and balances due during patient visits
  • Perform appointment scheduling and patient intake activities
  • Coordinate front office meetings and staff training
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational procedures

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in a physician office or clinical environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience with EMR systems, particularly Athenahealth
