Overview

Xpedient Logistics is seeking a Freight Handler to join their team in Hialeah, Florida. This role involves loading, unloading, sorting, and stacking tires within containers and trailers, requiring a high level of physical stamina and attention to detail to ensure safety and efficiency in the warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Load, unload, and manually stack tires from containers and trailers onto pallets
  • Utilize proper tire stacking techniques for stable and secure loads
  • Sort and stage tires based on shipping and receiving documentation
  • Verify trailer suitability and ensure alignment with load specifications
  • Complete paperwork accurately and maintain precise tire counts
  • Execute daily production schedules as directed by supervisors or site management
  • Operate manual pallet jacks safely within the warehouse
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all company policies, site procedures, and safety protocols
  • Report safety concerns, incidents, or hazards promptly

Required skills

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 70 lbs continuously
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision
