Job Description

Overview

Quad is seeking a Freelance Photo Studio Art Director to oversee art direction and photography projects that align with brand strategy and marketing communications. The role involves collaborating with multiple teams to ensure high-quality visual outputs that reflect the client's creative vision.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with client/customer's creative leadership to create project photo strategy
  • Direct photo shoots in studio and on location
  • Collaborate with Studio Operations, including management and photographers
  • Coordinate reproduction specifications and image review process
  • Initiate and coordinate photo retouching
  • Review and critique processes and results for future projects

Required skills

  • 4+ years as a Photo Art Director or similar role
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; A.A. degree preferred
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Word
  • Familiarity with creative software and systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High quality aesthetic sense and creative standards
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects
  • Valid Driver's License
