Overview

Quad is seeking a Freelance Photo Studio Art Director to execute art direction and collaboration for photography brand imagery. The role involves working closely with client teams to create effective project photo strategies, ensuring high-quality photographic results that align with brand strategies for multi-channel marketing.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with client/customer's creative leadership to develop project photo strategy.
  • Direct photo shoots in studio and on location.
  • Collaborate with creative, design, and marketing teams.
  • Coordinate with studio and outside-hired teams to ensure execution and quality.
  • Deliver preliminary Set Design and Set Construction requirements.
  • Initiate and coordinate photo retouching and reproduction specifications.
  • Review and critique photo processes and results for future improvements.

Required skills

  • 4+ years of experience as a Photo Art Director or related role
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Understanding of creative software and systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • High quality aesthetic sense and creative standards
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
  • Valid Driver's License
