Overview

Haast is seeking a Founding Engineer to lead the development of an AI platform designed for enterprise legal and compliance teams, revolutionizing compliance processes. The engineer will play a crucial role in building scalable services, engaging directly with customers, and influencing the product direction during a crucial growth phase following a successful funding round.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, architect, and ship full-stack features to address customer compliance challenges
  • Own the technical relationship with key customers, gathering requirements and implementing solutions
  • Build scalable services and APIs for the compliance platform, focusing on customer experience
  • Make high-impact technical decisions while adhering to engineering standards
  • Influence product roadmap and engineering practices based on customer feedback

Required skills

  • Experience in building full-stack systems at scale
  • Proficiency in Go, Node.js/TypeScript, or Python
  • Understanding of APIs and distributed systems
  • Experience working in fast-moving environments
  • Ability to engage with customers and understand their needs
