Overview

The Forklift Inbound Day role at Freshpoint involves handling the reception and storage of inbound produce within a warehouse setting. The position requires safe operation of powered industrial equipment while ensuring proper product rotation and maintaining a clean work area.

Key responsibilities

  • Receive and put away all inbound produce
  • Ensure product is stored in proper rotation (FIFO)
  • Operate powered industrial equipment safely
  • Stock selection slots with product and manage empty pallets
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area
  • Account for received product and perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Six months of warehouse experience
  • Proficient use of stand-up forklift and riding pallet jack
  • Basic knowledge of fresh produce
  • Experience with RF scanners and related functions
  • Strong reading and writing skills in English
  • Ability to lift and move cases up to 75 lbs
  • Endurance and strength to perform job tasks
  • Effective communication and interaction skills
