Deep South Equipment is seeking skilled Forklift/Heavy Equipment Field Mechanics Technicians in Oklahoma City, OK. The role involves diagnosing and repairing forklifts and material handling equipment, with a strong focus on customer service and technical expertise. Key responsibilities

  • Analyze and diagnose equipment malfunctions or failures
  • Repair or replace engines, transmissions, and hydraulic components
  • Perform tasks in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner
  • Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
  • Prepare required documentation, including work orders and time cards
  • Maintain a safe working environment and observe all safety laws

Required skills

  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Experience with forklifts, heavy machinery, or automotive equipment
  • Customer service skills
  • Electrical experience on lift trucks or industrial equipment (a plus)
