Overview

Willmar Electric is seeking a Licensed Journeyman Electrician to oversee electrical installations and upgrades in the Lawton, OK area. This role emphasizes leadership, safety compliance, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide oversight to installation, upgrades, and renovation tasks
  • Direct on-the-job training of apprentices
  • Attend and participate in Foreman meetings and safety meetings
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers
  • Manage job site tools and equipment
  • Coordinate subcontractors and ensure policy compliance
  • Lead onsite planning and develop daily task plans
  • Procure necessary materials for project progress
  • Complete and submit daily reports via construction management software
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure safety training

Required skills

  • Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician
  • OSHA 30-hour certification
  • Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
  • Proficient in construction management software (Procore) and Microsoft Office
  • Effective communication skills
