Willmar Electric is seeking a Licensed Journeyman Electrician to oversee electrical projects in the Lawton, OK area. The role involves managing installation and renovations while providing on-the-job training to apprentices, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining effective relationships with team members and clients. Key responsibilities

  • Oversee installation, upgrades, and renovations of electrical projects
  • Participate in regular team meetings and safety sessions
  • Establish effective relationships with internal and external customers
  • Maintain knowledge of project progress, materials, and schedules
  • Coordinate job site tools and maintain as-built drawings
  • Train and mentor apprentices and craftworkers
  • Approve project timesheets and ensure policy compliance
  • Lead onsite planning and manage materials according to project plans
  • Conduct safety training and inspections, reporting any issues

Required skills

  • Licensed Journeyman in Electrical work
  • OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety and Health certification
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings
  • Proficient in construction management software (Procore) and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills with ability to convey information to various stakeholders
  • Familiarity with NFPA 70 National Electrical Code
