Overview

CoolSys is seeking a Foreman Refrigeration for commercial and industrial projects in Providence, Rhode Island. This role involves leading and mentoring a project crew, ensuring safe work practices, and maintaining project schedules. Key responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and mentor the project crew
  • Prioritize and delegate responsibilities
  • Track project schedules to ensure timely completion
  • Serve as Lead Technical resource on assigned projects
  • Report on job status and performance
  • Control job costs and ensure compliance with safety policies
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with peers and subcontractors
  • Oversee the work of Apprentices and journeymen assigned to projects

Required skills

  • R.I. RJ license
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial building construction or related field
  • Knowledge of construction principles and practices
  • Ability to organize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Strong judgment and instruction skills
  • Familiarity with computer tools including E-Mail, Word, and Project Planning Software (Projectmates)
  • Ability to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures
