Overview

As a Foreman Refrigeration at CoolSys, you will lead and mentor a project crew while ensuring efficient project completion. This role emphasizes safety compliance and fosters strong relationships with team members and clients in a dynamic commercial and industrial setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and mentor project crew
  • Prioritize and delegate responsibilities
  • Track project schedules for timely completion
  • Serve as the lead technical resource on assigned projects
  • Control job costs and report on job status
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures
  • Oversee work of apprentices and journeymen
  • Maintain productive relationships with peers, customers, and subcontractors

Required skills

  • Mass RT license
  • High school diploma, GED, or technical school completion
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial building construction
  • Knowledge of construction principles and practices
  • Ability to organize tasks and manage time
  • Clear communication and guidance skills
  • Proficient in computer tools including E-Mail, Word, and Project Planning Software (Projectmates)
  • Strong judgment and compliance with safety practices
