Job Description

Overview

As a Foreman Refrigeration at CoolSys, you will lead and mentor a project crew in the HVAC and refrigeration industry, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role offers the chance to engage in diverse tasks and maintain productive relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and mentor project crew
  • Prioritize and delegate responsibilities
  • Communicate with tradespeople on job site
  • Track project schedules for timely completion
  • Serve as Lead Technical resource on assigned projects
  • Manage job costs and report on job status
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures
  • Oversee the work of Apprentices and journeymen
  • Maintain productive relationships with peers and customers

Required skills

  • R.I. RJ license
  • High school diploma or GED; college degree is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial building construction or related industry
  • Knowledge of construction principles and practices
  • Ability to organize tasks and make work assignments
  • Good judgment and clear communication skills
  • Proficient in computer tools including E-Mail and Project Planning Software (Projectmates)
  • Ability to manage time and delegate assignments effectively
